So sometime this morning (RL time) I got shot with an arrow into my chest and it has not disappeared.
And just now, a second arrow has decided to call my arm home and not disappear.

Is there somewhere I am suppose to go to "get them removed" or is it a bug in the game?


EDIT FIX: Found a somewhat fix. I had Jyrik Gauldurson (end boss) in the Saarthal Ruins Dungeon shoot me a couple of times with his Frozen Spike Magic which got rid of the arrows. Semi downside was sometimes these Ice Spikes would glitch and stay "in me" as well. So I reloaded the previous save and kept doing the fight until I killed him with no magic spikes glitching on me.

It's permanent, I'm afraid. Part of Skyrim's new "scarring system".

Not a very well thought out scaring system, noone, now or back in those days would ever leave an arrow embedded in them.

Seriously? I think after a hundred hours my character is going to look like a pin-cushion...

I have been shot countless times, no arrows sticking out of me yet.

I'm having the same problem.

I have the same problem. Have an arrow sticking out of my neck. Going to try the 'get shot again' solution mentioned above soon.

Try equipping your armor, and requiping it. Oblivion had this bug and that solved the problem for it.

Yeah I found a whole new set of armor (gloves, chest, helm, boots) and the arrows "transfered" over.

But I got rid of them, I got shot by an magic ice spike. Downside is the magic ice spike is now "embedded", won't go away.
