Yeah, I saw one standing over a dead mammoth. He just stared at me. I scavenged a husk and sketched in case it was a glitch and he turned nasty.

You should try the giants near the dungeon of the golden claw and see how those ones are hehe. They are on the left instead of right when you go back to the village.

I guess it depends on if you are in their "zone" or not... If they are just out shepherd the Mammoth, then you can get close...

Well that's no surprise, they are usually peaceful...
