Hey.

I have never completed the MQ, do you guys think I should do it with my new character? Oh by the way I am using a mod so i don't have to walk through Helgen again, I just choose a place like a shipwreck and then i can live my life.

Lucky you. I hate that Helgen mission. Do you think your character would do it? That's what I do.

Hmm.. I am becoming an Argonian hunter, archer, if he uses a sword, it's a one handed one. No magic. Travels most of the time, doesn't really likes cities, only enters them when he really needs it.
So, i don't know..?

Don't do it stay in Helgen no matter what they tell you!

Well, it isn't in any hurry, so do it whenever. If you want to now, go on ahead.

Does he have a backstory for example. The Adventurer
The Adventurer is a affable swordsman and archer who has travelled all across most of Tamriel. He has an uncontrollable urge to explore every nook and cranny he comes across. He is originally from the city of Dragonstar in the southeast corner of Hammerfell and by the age of 13 had already travelled to the Stout's Trading Post and back by himself in just three days. A few years later he set out to achieve his dream, travel all of Tamriel, and the only place left is Skyrim.

Think of a backstory then think would your character do it. It puts the RP in RPG

Yes, his background story is just like The Adventurer. And I will do the MQ another time.

Well, I would say "Yes", but that's probably because I don't understand why anyone would buy a game and NOT play it's main/primary story at least once.
(kind of like buying a book and then just reading the appendixes. Or buying a DVD and just watching the "making of" extras.)

Even if I rarely or never do the MQ in a Beth game again (like in, say, Oblivion), I've always done it with my first character. Why wouldn't you?
