wait mass effect extended cut comes out? that's awesome, a reason to boot that game again.

On a side note I've been playing dawngaurd for the best 2 weeks on the beta. I recommend getting skyrim. Mass effect just can't hold a candle to skyrim. Though admittedly i've been biased towards the series since morrowind.

do what i am going to do. Download both, check bioware social network, if BSN still exists then consider playing ME3 first as it will only take a little over an hour, then play Dawnguard to help you feel better.

Considering ME3 had no trial, at the start, and I shelved it after 30 min of gameplay, my choice would be obvious.

I'd play FONV.

...The Extended Cut will probably take you thirty minutes to get through depending on your save.
Dawnguard will take you the better part of the morning more than likely.

Do both, The extended cut is free anyway.

well na I was going to play that first mostly just mentioning how 2 awesome things are comming out on the same day. but doing an ending of me3 does not take long but I hear the Extended cut is about 2 gigs which makes me wonder how big is dawngaurd going to be.

different games that compress and use resources in different ways, extended cut for ME3 is only going to give you about 10 minutes of content for each playthrough although there may be a large variation depending on your choices.

i've been so emotionally invested in mass effect since the first one that no matter how much i hated mass effect 3 i'll boot up the extended cut tomorrow. But again, unfair advantage as i've been playing dawngaurd since beta was released.

Since I'm about the only person on the planet that does not like ME at all, it will be Dawnguard for me.

likely. Just hoping people dont try to compare the size between ME3 1.9 gb dlc and Dawnguard. 2 completely different games, one full of rendered cutscenes.

yea cutscenes do take up more space but skyrim has genally been considered a better game than M3(but M3 cut alot of heat cause of its ending) but yea dawngaurd will def take alot longer than 1 day.
