I have found the skull of the flaming horse. But after I picked it up it said to return it somewhere but doesnt say where. Am I able to leave the soul cairn with it? Errr..?

Haha, alright. I guess my game glitched and spawned the skull anyway. Maybe thats why picking it up freezed my xbox.

Now I just have to roam around until I find him.
