There are also some other pair of gauntlets that I've come across, the vampire gauntlets. These gauntlets look like black gloves but with bits of metal (steel I'm assuming from the colour) on the knuckles as well as steel "nails"/claws on the tips of each finger. When I first saw them I immediately thought of how these would be perfect for pugilistic characters, maybe allowing for the "Swiping" attack for other non-Khajiit races and bosting unarmed attacks by something just shy of the boost Khajiit get in unarmed (if it were made equal it would negate one of the reasons to select Khajiit).
Another thing that stuck out to me was the fact that the book, "Immortal Blood" appeared so frequently throughout the missions for Dawnguard. This was an unarmed skill book back in Oblivion and as such, featured unarmed combat as the main approach of the protagonist when confronting vampires. I understand that the Volkihar vampires are mentioned within this text, which was most likely the reason why it became so common within this add on, but I cant figure out why Beth haven't taken this opportunity to flesh out unarmed more. I would have loved to have replicated the unarmed battle against the Volkihar that was mentioned in the book.
I just feel that this was a great opportunity to bring back unarmed or at least make it usable for all levels.
Also, does the poison talon perk for Vampire Lord's stack with the Khajiit unarmed boost? I haven't had time to test it yet and just got curious, anyways let me know what you guys think.
