Have yet to see Daedric armor

Post » Fri Dec 16, 2011 11:18 am

Is it normal to have yet to see anyone wearing daedric armor or have yet to find it in a chest by level 53?

BTW, I'm not leveling smithing.

I've come across plenty, but perhaps I'm just lucky. I found my first piece, a Daedric helm, in a master locked chest at level 35. Afterwards, I have come across bows, greatswords, etc, but it is certainly not over abundant like ebony items and the like. I've also come across some enchanted dragonplate armor in a chest. I do have 100 smithing, but that shouldn't mean anything.

Daedric is incredibly rare to be found. It starts to appear at level 35; but you'd be super lucky if you could FIND a full suit.

I've found two or three pieces so far. Boots, helmet, a sword. All while playing in the mid lvl 30s.

Daedric loot is rare, though. It should be, lore wise, mind you. After the Oblivion Crisis your average Tamreil native is not likely to keep hold of Daedric goods. You know, you don't want to tempt the Daedra to your door, do you? :obliviongate:

I think I was level 41 when the smith in riften asked me to bring him a daedra heart to create a piece of armor for me.

And it's rather odd when he gives you an elven shield in return. That Moth guy in Markath has quite a racket going...

I'm level 22 and I haven't seen any Daedric armour.

I found some Ebony though.

Sold it as my Steel Plate armour has been upgraded to a higher level.

Daedra are bad though.

Not sure if my character will demean himself by wearing it.

Daedric armor is very rare, by level 62 I think I've only found 3 or 4 pieces of it and it was always enchanted as well so less useful then deadric armor that you make yourself since you can enchant deadric armor that you make yourself with much better effects.

I like this though, its quite logical that you can't find daedric armor lying around on a whim :D No more bandits with daedric armor!
Although this might make some people go nuts by rummaging every alchemist shop for daedra hearts.

I only found 1 Daedric Armor in the chest. For weapons though, Tonilia in the Thieves Guild sells it very often.

Ulfric gave me a Deadric sword after completing some quests for him. And I found daedric gloves in a chest. But yes, Daedric pieces are pretty rare. I have a full armor set on one of my display dummies, but only because I made it myself LOL

its all random so posting where you found something is not gonna help. random is not rare. its stupid. since there is a legal way to get a full set without smithing and using perks at all by just buying some things from vendors just proves HOW stupid this random bs loot system is this time.

just level conjuration up to 90. (takes less than 1 hour by spamming soultrap on dead target) then do the quest for phinis gestor at winterhold and get deadric armor piece for every ebony one you find by just buying the additonal things from ethir. you can also just buy the ebony things aswell since vendors are FLOODED with them once you hit lvl 31+.

random has nothing to do with rare. random is just the way of the super LAZY dev.

Level 65, never found it. Have smithed it though. It's cool, or at least the sword is.

I think the armour looks a little over the top.

Ebony and Glass look the best IMO, but I'm more of a robe man, which look the coolest
