I'll probably never see one unless I go out of my way to level my character that high.

I RP with my characters. My pure warrior is in his 50's with 100 to every combat skill but archery (which is 80). Some other skills are decently high, sneak got to 50 during my vampire hunter phase, and speechcraft hit 50 or 60 through normal sale and convincing throughout the game.

For me to get to a higher level, I'd need to start using magic or stealth. That's not something this character would do. I've never cast a single spell with him.

I always get to the high 40's with my characters then start running out of things to do and skills to raise. So I make a new one.

Ive fought about 6, and I cant say that they are not challenging on master, as a spellsword.

I found my first today... they look epic but they aren't that big of a deal.

Could have been much harder, fought it on Skyborn Pillar so I just sat behind a pillar after he nearly killed me in one attack and shot arrows at his ungrateful face.
Took about 30 arrows on medium (adept?) difficulty.

and how many hrs does it take to kill one??
just curious as i know the time it takes to kill a UR dragon -online or offline [1,470,000 hit points- dragons dogma -they also have a wrym 60k, wyvern 70k, drake 80k and The Dragon at 100k] whats the legendaries hit points?

also is the legendary able to grab you and pick you up and smash you or do they just hoover and fly?

in dragons dogma unlike bethesda the monsters level is not dependent on your level ..
the monsters do not change their level in dragons dogma as you level up.. [i know they do in bethesdas games]

since i have no intention of leveling to 80,
as grinding will not get me what i want, since no matter what you do the creatures just level with you
never liked that about bethesda
i will not see one of these legendary dragons
how big are they?? in dragons dogma your character is about the size of their foot and they do pick you up and smash you
so how big? etc how long to kill?


my brother [level82] offline took about 3hrs to kill the UR dragon
if you do it online you share the kill with everyone who has attacked it
i know it seems like a multiplayer game but it is not.. you get 8 min online to kill it then it shows up in someone elses game
ditto you can borrow their pawns as well

but i got off track how long to kill and how big is this thing in comparison to their other dragons
i can kill an elder dragon in minutes

I dont understand the point of comparing a new class of existing enemy to another game...

They aren't difficult but leveling up to encounter one is

They are just dragons with more stats. You can exploit their AI and kill them just as easy.

Just use dragonrend and hit them.

Anyway he is easier than Alduin or most unique dragons

Alduin was pathetic. Random Ancient dragons were more difficult than him.

i play on master and defeated a legendary in 4 shots with my crossbow. I thought they would be harder to kill because of the way they fight but it turned out they are just like any other dragon
