I started playing (on PC) a few days ago and have always NOT been able to DROP items...ever. (I click on the keyboars letter and it doesn't drop on the ground)I managed to work around the problem(thinking I'd figure it out)...till now. BUT.....I found a dead villager who owned a house.I thought it might be a place to store some of my items in his house....well it was so well stocked I took quite a number of his things thinking i'll just sell them. Nope...the items cannot be sold in the town. So i tried to drop them and ...silly as it seems...I cannot drop ANY item(stolen or not stolen) ! So i'm at my weight max so i cannot hunt/quest/explore and REALLY REALLY need to know how....on a PC to drop things. Any help would be most appreciated. I'm really stuck.

While I play on the PC with a controller, I believe it is the same key you use to sheath the weapon.

Have you remapped the any of the keys ?

Have you tried putting things in a container (eg barrel or sack) ?

I would try this also. If that doesn't work, this may sound a little childish, but just press a whole bunch of random buttons and see what happens.
