[REQ] Headshot mod

Post » Fri May 18, 2012 12:42 am

I couldn't find any other topic on this so here's a request.

How about moding a different hit detection box for the head with a huge damage multiplier to make headshots deadly for normal foes? Of course bosses and dragons would have a smaller multiplier so you wouldn't be able to one-hit-kill them as easily.

I thought of this because I find it very annoying fighting bandits with arrows stuck to their faces. Big immersion breaking.

I don't know if it's possible but if it is I'm certan it will require the CK.

Unless there are leftovers of the systems from Fallout, it's VERY unlikely that this is possible at all.

Actually its easy. I, and several others besides (spookyfx, skycaptain, talkie toaster) have all done this in the past for oblivion. Both spooky and myself will be doing it again for skyrim along with a bunch of other combat stuff.

Not going to lie; this makes me moist. I very much appreciate people who make mods like these - this is the stuff that -should- be in vanilla, yet for some inexplicable reason isn't. Thank you.
