When you go out on a mission or exploring how many healing items i.e stimpacks do you usually carry with you? Not sure how many I will need, is 10-15 enough at the start? Thanks.

You know in vault 101 during the escape quest you can loot like 15 stims if you loot every locker and first aid kit. You don't ever need to buy stimpacks if you loot well

Carrying 10-15 stimpaks on you at any time should be plenty enough to get you through any situation. You can always heal by drinking water, eating food you find or sleeping in a bed you run across if you're running low on stims.

That depends on:

- my level
- the type of armor (DR level) that I'm using
- whether I have MMM's increased spawns turned on
- how long I plan to be gone and whether there will be vendors
- how sneaky I plan on being

So, it might range from as few as 20 to as many as 100. Low DR combined with a follower like Jericho means that I'm going to get drawn into more extended firefights where I end up taking damage. Especially with MMM where I constantly have to save Jericho from himself as he manages to pull half a dozen critters on to us.

If it's just me, myself and I, and the enemies can be easily separated and taken down individually, I might barely get scratched.

Just carry what you have. They don't weigh anything. Eating food and then popping a RadAway is much cheaper than using stimpacks (you can buy radaway from doctirs if you're hitting a drought of it in the loot stakes); snarf what you find as you need it.
