Healing potion recipe?

Post » Tue Jan 01, 2013 7:26 pm

Hi all.

I'm trying to find out how to make a strong healing potion. The only potion recipe I've found is the restore health for 22 points. Or do I have to invest a perk somewhere in the skill tree?

Investing perks helps. The base perk in the Alchemy tree increases the potency of all your potions and poisons by 20% per rank. Then there are a couple more perks in the skill tree that help as well.

As noted, most of your potions will be low strength until you either level up Alchemy quite a bit (and that takes a while) or take ranks in the first perk on the skill tree.

You can also look for apparel enchanted with Fortify Alchemy - these can be found in random loot and also appear randomly in merchant inventories. There are armored and unarmored varieties so any merchant who sells apparel, including blacksmiths, may have them for sale from time to time.

yes you need perks to make it stronger. perks + skills + enchanting.

how is your enchanting skill? or your shopping skill?
