1.7 Is rolled into 1.6. You have the update; don't worry.

i thought it 1.6 rolled into 1.7 which would make more sense because 1.7 is newer, but if I'm completely up to date then I'm happy.

Nope, it's the other way around. I was confused about this too.

When you update it says 1.06. After the update if you look at the version type in the lower left corner when in a sub-screen it says 1.7.(something).

Its the correct update, have no fear

Europe gets it next week apparently

So Europe gets updates later, is still waiting for dawnguard if on PS3 (like me although I'm in the U.S.), and will probably get dawnguard released after the U.S. PS3 lol

I guessed as much, thanks for the reply. It really svcks to be a European PS3 player! I'm starting to wonder if we will ever see Dawnguard...

Trust me, us in the U.S. are wondering the exact same thing

We know it's coming out, but the question is will it be days? Months? Weeks? a year?

Being left in the dark, and they're refusal to communicate anything other than "we're working on it" or "We're not satisfied with it yet" to me sounds like months. And that's what scares me.

I guess we are all in the same boat when it comes to DG. It is annoying to think that the content is there and pretty much finished (minus the standard bugs every version has) but that they can't even give an estimate when this DLC will be ready for PS3. How hard can it be to give an estimate at least?

I take no news as bad news. If they can't tell us when then they must have so many issues with it that they can't tell how much work it needs. I'd rather think of Bethesda as just incompetent with PS3 coding than to be inconsiderate and choose not to tell us something that they fully could.

Haha good for you!

Sadly my attempt to get info on this site has only gotten me into arguments with stubborn people off the PS3 saying we deserve nothing and should be happy with no information and to shove it up our a***s.

So they kind of svcked the enthusiasm out of me even quicker.

No worries. You aren't missing anything really all that interesting. A bit more storyline, a chunk of new glitches, and a new game-wide annoyance. That's about it.
