Heartfire Giants and Rats Worry

Post » Wed Aug 29, 2012 1:42 pm

Will this be a problem like the Vampire attacks? I can see dead bodies and pots and pans scattered all over the house with blood that cannot be resplaced back to it's original location. Also, Wife dies while your on a mission?

You would think they may learn something from the vampires before making another random NPC attack system. Besides the skeevers only stay in your basemant so they can't ruin much, and Giants stay outside.

Well at least my husband would have enough sense to stay indoors and not try to attack the giant. Oh wait.

Dumb Giants. They be all creeping around my cows while I'm out hunting. I'm going to have to arm the children with crossbows.

I was wondering, is the house you build in a preset location or can you choose where it goes? Hmm...

Who cares about skeevers and giants....it's dragons that give me more than a touch of worry about this housebuilding adventure.

Too bad you can't hire guards to protect your land like some NPC's do similar to some the Thieves Guild quests.

Wonder if they have overhauled the marriage part, would seem a little strange - honey I'm going to set up a small stall out here in the wilderness? It's weired enough that they make money while they adventure with you.

Then when she starts foaming at the mouth you'll have to take her out back behind the shed and finish her off, old yeller style. Think of it this way though. At least it would be behind a shed you built!

What is the going insurance rate in Skyrim for Dragon attacks?

Lol, I can already see threads where the 1st post reads:

"I fast traveled home after a few hours of exploring, opened the door, and as soon as the loading screen finished, I was attacked by 3 skeevers only to find my wife and servants slaughtered. I tried to reload an earlier save and instead fast traveled to a nearby location but to no avail! Bethesda needs to fix this!"

2nd post: Try placing bear traps around your house. Just remember where they are.

3rd post: I shouldn't have to go through extra steps to babysit my family to avoid a skeever raid!

4th post: Don't blame Bethesda for your lack of family man skills. You svck as head of the household.

You can bet they would have a small clause excluding fire damage or attacks by Dragons,Trolls,Giants,Bandits,Skeevers,Spiders,etc,etc........

I second this advice, there is a reason why my postman leaves the letters at the end of my front garden

In which case, a proper application of Unrelenting Force should remind them of who they are attempting to cheat.
