Heartfire Homesteads - What Would You Like To Add?

In the DLC Heartfire you get to build your own house on your own piece of land.
This is great and the house you get is a very nice one, but isn't there something you feel is missing when the building of your house/manor is done?

Let us tell each other what we think could be added to Heartfire.
Who knows maybe Bethseda will look at this topic and release an upgrade for Heartfire with some of our suggestions..

I am going to mention four things I would have liked to add to Heartfire DLC:
  • My first thing is not the biggest one, but it is to choose one homestead as your "Clan-hall" (your main home).
  • Next is to get the option to build a palisade-wall to fortify your "clan-hall" and also to build a small barrack.
In addition to building this you would become able to hire a "lord-of-arms"/captain that can with "fundings" from you can recruit two
generic men-at-arms-/mercenaries-NPCs to help guard your home and/or you can "enlist" the help of two followers you come across.
(I wrote both since I figured if men-at-arms-/mercenaries-NPC dies new ones can "recruited", but followers.. not so easy..)
  • Thirdly, add a "income-resource" on the land next to ones house/manor. For example, at Lakeview Manor in Falkreath there can be added
a mine (perhaps iron and gold) which can produce an income for you homestead through your steward. And similar things near the other sites.
  • And lastly, mostly just to add a little more fun to it all, is to add a "rivalling clan" to your character that you get to deal with by either
bribing, threatening, seeking peace with or start a feud/war with. =)
These are the things I would have liked to add to Heartfire, what would you like to add?
