Hi,

I have a few problems with my husband that may have been caused by a glitch.

I had my husband and 2 kids in the windstad manor i built to the hilt.

I had one follower (from Solitude) running around with me and shadowmere, merrily doing the day to day objectives. Until.... i went to the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary near Dawnstar. Had been there before since the one near Falconwreath collapsed. Except this time i spoke to one of the initiates and asked them to follow me... usually i would get the 'you already have someone with you' reply but i didn't.

My other follower didn't seemed bothered and when we left i had two followers. I though great i can use them as tanks for my stuff as i also had the Secret Servant too. So 3 camels to load up. When went back to windstad eventually to offload i noticed my husband was nowhere to be seen. I looked everywhere. I though he was just around somewhere so i went on doing my trecking. Then i realised that shadowmere had been missing also since the extra follower came with me. He usually turns up when i fast travel but he hadn't for hours.

I decided to dissmiss the dark brotherhood follower and went back to windstad with only one follower - still no husband or shadowmere?

So i dismissed the other follower. Still no husband or shadowmere.

I also went to all of my houses in skyrim to see if my husband had relocated himself but he wasn't in any of them or wandering around in riften where he origianolly came from.

Ok so he's gone. I though i would remarry to fill the void but every eligible NPC that i could marry will not give me the extra speach options to do that (i am wearing the mara amulet also).

So now i have no spouse and can't remarry. And shadowmere is gone also.

And no one else turns up at the manor for the housecarl position. My other 2 built houses both had housecarls turn up almost immediatly for the position.

The kids are running amuck. And to top it off my manor was invaded by a band of bandits and made a horrible mess and now i have dead bodieds everywhere inside the manor to top it off as well as pots and pans etc all over the floor lol. Without a housecarl i cant add the horse or chickens etc to the house or get someone to hire a bard or a carriage.....

Anyone else had this experience?

So i either have to go back to a save 12 hours prior - eeek or i'm fooked.

Wait,you had bandits INSIDE your house?And which house has no housecarl?Did you have one before your game had a brain-fart?
