Hearthfire was pretty much presented in a unrefined format at DICE Keynotes 2012 as an idea to be added and a few versions of mods like Hearthfire that aren't as polished were created by players with editor tools were already released. And with the obvious less content of a DLC like Dawnguard and lesser price its safe to assume Hearthfire didn't consume a vast amount of time to produce, comparably. Normally this wouldn't be an issue for me however let us rewind to prior discussion from Bethesda officials on their plans for DLCs. (Not exactly if event is correct) At E3 this year, 2012, the bethesda speaker for dawnguard said that they plan to release 2 large DLCs in addition to Dawnguard. This was excellent new because it gave consumers/players confidence in a quality product and Bethesda's reputation does uphold production of quality better than excellent as game designers (my opinion). But clearly with Hearthfire this was a misrepresentation of their plans and breach of consumer/player trust.
The question then arises, is Hearthfire to satisfy the community because the next DLC is 6 months or further from release? Or just a swindling of our money by using the popularity of the TES franchise?
If not or even if so, what can the community expect from the next DLC, because in hindsight parts of Dawnguard seemed slapped together and correct me if I am wrong but isn't the PS3 community still unable to play Dawnguard?
I love Bethesda and so does the community. We simply want you to produce works your proud of and we can all enjoy playing. Oh and give us a phoenix
