I had read some pros and cons and quite a bit of negativity on the other forums but in the end I decided to finally try this DLC. I already had about half the points so $2.50 more seemed like a bargain. Even though there is definitely room for improvement this is a pretty darn good DLC for Beth's first time doing something like this. I got a lot of enjoyment out of the building process and picking and choosing what I wanted in the house. The house itself is fantastic with a ton of nice perks and loads of storage. I like the location and how it looks and it is pretty cool to own a home that isn't in a city for once. I also love the extras like the carriage, and having my own animals even if they don't do very much. It still has a good vibe to it.

I hope they will continue this in future games with even more detail and customization. I would love to be able to decide where furniture goes or where weapons are displayed on the walls and such. Giving it more personalization should be the first priority. I also really hope that for the next game they will be able to finally have actual windows that we can look out of. I get so tired of every building having walls with no view of the outside. I was hoping maybe they would find a way for this but maybe when the new consoles come out they will have enough power to finally make it a reality.

But for the most part this is a great addition to the game for anyone who wants to role play building and owning their own home. I've had a lot more fun with it than I thought I would.
