Your kids can have foxes! That's just awesome. Fixed are one of the animals I don't kill in non of my save files. Even not in the Evil one.
What kind of animals can they bring home as well, and how many?

According to Lore, you are the absolute Last Dragonborn.

There will be no Dovahkiin Legacy.

wrong, it is unknown if there are any other Dovahkiin's around the time of this game

Indeed the Greybeards say more may exist they just haven't realized what they are yet.

Although an Elder Scroll says that with Alduin's awakening, the wheel turns on the "Last Dragonborn"

Turn them into a werewolf/vampire.

More child-occupations; such as child thieves, child smithies, etc.

No to turning. You should at least wait till the child attained majority before asking them whether they wanted to be a vampire/werewolf if it was important to you. Even then, gods, no.

Child-occupations? Like making clothes in a factory? Ew, no.

Adding:

Would be nice to be able to give the kid (and spouse) a hug. Maybe see them interact with your spouse, that would really give a "family" feel.

I'm just sad that you couldn't have biological children with anyone, but I guess that would create nightmares with a spouse like Shavee.

A bit unrealistic that you can give a little kid an elven dagger... bit dangerous too! Kids should be restricted to wooden offensive weapons and 'dummy' spells, or harmless spells; Like healing, magelight, etc.

Nah. I wan't a bloodthirsty babette clone following me around.

"Please sir, can you help me? I'm lost." ;..; Rawr

"Luccia, go play tag with the town guards."
"Alright mama!" Starts throwing out fear spells and fire balls.

"Mama! Your back! Here!...I got these for you." Hands me 6 Black Soul Stones. All filled.

Well, Skyrim's a rough place... I could definitely see giving your kid a weapon for self-defense. And maybe a few useful spells, like lesser ward or healing. Maybe flames too, just in case.
