Hearthfire release month?

Trendkillv01 brought this to my attention. Looking at the Tamrielic calender, it has 12 months like we do. Hearthfire is the 9th month. September is our 9th month. Maybe we are looking at September DLC? Unlikely because that is only 3 months after Dawnguard. Hopefully that is true because I don't think I can wait another 7 months for a DLC.

I couldn't find the appropriate thread for Hearthfire release, so I'm sorry I made another thread for it.

I sure hope not. September would be the worst month to release any kind of DLC for any game, honestly.

Why? Because of games releasing in September?

That, and i'm pretty sure most people will stop caring since Darksiders 2 and Sleeping Dogs release near the end of August.

Disagreed

You disagree that those two games are on the top of the poster's list? Weird...

Anyway, I doubt it. It sounds like Dawnguard still has some major performance and stability issues, and I seriously doubt that they'll release the next DLC without so much as a single patch aimed at helping at least mitigate the issues Dawnguard is causing.

Then again, we are talking about Bethesda...

Besides, two platforms haven't even received Dawnguard yet, and likely won't until at least the end of August (at least for PS3). Not only that, but Bethesda hasn't even announced Hearthfire officially.

If its marketed well it will sell, just because other games are out doesnt stop people buying DLC for a title they already own.

No he's saying the games got a month named Hearthfire, same as this DLC which in our calender is september.

I disagreed with those games being on my list. Two opinions. He'll like those games, I won't. Simple. Anyways, just speculation. If Hearthfire was the 12 month, I would probably say "Ohh, a DLC in December." Just speculation.

Hearthfire is the 9th month of the Tamrielic calendar and our 9th month is September. Do you see what I'm saying?

Zenimax Media (Parent company to Bethesda) filed a trademarked application called "Dawnguard" way before it was released. They did the same thing after Dawnguard hit the marketplace, except this time, the name of the trademarked application is "Hearthfire." It's likely this is the next DLC. Also, there are a series of books in Skyrim called "Hearthfire" with multiple versions. If you've read them, you'll find that it deals with the Psijic Order.

Crysis 2 had one of the most absurd marketing campaigns I've ever seen in my life for a video game and it bombed like no other.

It was badly made thats why it bombed, the beta for it didnt help either what with the fact that most of the bugs were ignored from it to the release version. And I did say marketed well, not absurdly

The only Skrim DLC likely to be released in September is Dawnguard, considering two platforms are still waiting to get it. No way would they be releasing a so far unannounced DLC so close to Dawnguard. Maybe they will announce it in September.

Just speculation and anyways, I already said it's unlikely because it's 3 months after Dawngaurd.

Took 7 months for Dawnguard to come to one platform, its more than likely Hearthfire will be next September.

It's very seems very possible for Bethesda to release Hearthfire three months after Dawnguard. Since all of Fallout 3's DLC's were released two months apart from each other.

I'm betting on an announcement in September (probably towards the end) and a release in October/ November for Xbox and early December for PC/PS3

I would say the earliest we'll see the next dlc is November. They will probably do one more patch after it releases on the other two platforms (platform specific bugs).

I'd honestly rather wait another 6 months and give them plenty of time to work/tinker/create. I'll have Dawnguard, Dark Souls PC edition and Guild Wars 2 to keep me occupied until then.
