In the meantime, can't hurt to do a "Skyrim" search on PSN periodically. When Dragonborn went live last week, searching was the only way to find it for a couple hours.

thats kind of exciting and at the same time scary, because once they release that they will stop making PS3 games, and I don't have the money to upgrade (at least not yet)

If I am correct, Sony continued to make PS2's and it's games long into the PS3 life didn't they? I may be wrong here. Anyway, if they repeat this, PS3 will be supported for who knows how long after the PS4 launch.

There's been a lot of talk from developers that the overall transition from PS3 to PS4 isn't going to be as drastic as the transition from PS1 to PS2, or PS2 to PS3. My guess is current generation consoles will still be practical for some time into the next generation, or PS3 games will be downloadable or hopefully backwards compatible on the PS4. I'm also a big concerned, since I'm going to college in the fall and am trying to decide if I want a PS3 for all the games I have now, or wait to get a PS4.

Rumor is there shooting for a $400 price tag and before the end of the year for release hopefully tomorrow will solidify some answers.
