Hearthfire worth buying now?

I plan on eventually getting Hearthfire but my question is, should I wait until the patches that follow? Or is Hearthfire worth playing despite the bugs and glitches?

I'm definetely waiting anyway. No plots in snowy regions is a huge thumbs down for me. Unless we get a free update to build a home in Winterhold I just don't know wether I'll purchase this or not. Also don't like the sound of frequently falling through stairs and such.

Like Mark Twains death, the reports of bugs have been greatly exaggerated. I've been playing all day with no bugs/glitches.

Thanks for the feedback everyone :). I've heard of quite a bit of issues (mainly with losing housecarls, family members, etc.

Just to put my opinion in here, Apart from when my adopted child was half way through the floor (Waiting 1 hour fixed this) I have encountered no bugs.

The game's crashed 3 times, has been really slow at times, I've got a few gliches pertaining to missing people, falling through the floor and the such. And am unable to purchase the land in Falkreath. And that's just the start...

You can already build in Winterhold.

Edit: Sorry, Dawnstar is in the Pale. Which is still snowy.

Only thing that happen to me was my follower just when missing however I don't know if it was the DLC that did this but I just reload a save and didn't happen after that.

Its ALOT less glitchy than i thought it would be, i've encountered 1 or 2 little hiccups so far, and i've completed construction of my first home

From the video I saw... you get Snowy regions for 2 of them (Pale and Hjaalmarch), though Hjaalmarch is only just snowy, and the Dawnstar one is actually only just up a mountain near Whiterun.
