Hey Hel Borne. Fan of some of your Oblivion work! But yes I've noticed what you mentioned but dismissed it cause honestly, I don't bother looking inside the helmets lol.

Thanks. Its the fact that the missing polys (and lack of two-sided texture) means you can see 'thru' from the inside around the face. Its a bit distracting and considering the ground/inventory meshes aren't missing the polys (though the UVmaps are junked) I don't see the point. Did the poly police show up one day demanding 'shave (20) tri's off every rigged helm or you're fired'? If helms are PRN to the head bone like they were in OB I'll just fix it myself.

I'd say go for it, if it's worth the time that is. I would certainly download it as too having it fixed, and I like fixed things, but to the point where the opposite interior side of a helmet is see through..now that I think about it, I think it should be fixed.

Seems someone has already fixed the 'floating helm' effect that actually exposes the missing poly's in the 1st place. At least this has been done for glass, steel, and steel horned. These mods basically create a better fit which now that I see it, is more desirable than just patching the interior.

I for one would like an mod who showed the Khajiit ears on light and thigh helmets and hats like the leather helmets, ok for larger helmets like the elven and the hoods.
Should be possible as some hats show the ears.

For some reason Skyrim Nexus is down for me...Or I would have linked you the same that Kronix did, (I think)

If im correct it does it for all the Imperial helms, both steel and horned steel (which bugged me the most...WHO THE HELL wants to see their characters EARS through the front of the helmet?! It looks sooo dumb! Thank you for overlooking THIS too Beth...) And others I think Glass is included

But there is a mod that does just the Glass helmet, and I hafto say, the before and after picture is really quite impressive...Going from a big fathead glass helmet to a sleeker skinnier helmet that you cant see your characters ears is quite amazing if I may say so...

We're going to need the CK to fully fix some things; 'hide' the ears entirely with some helms. Bosmer ears tend to poke through if you 'fit' the helm.

Yeah sorry, should have mentioned the non-human races kinda get screwed  , (like always)

But im sure eventually ALL the races will have nicely fitting helms and not look like total dorks...lol
