So I'm going to be a wood elf archer and will specialize in archery, sneak, alchemy, and light armor. My question is I want to have at least one magic skill on the side I can use and any further input about skills I should invest in is appreciated as well assuming you can fully perk 5,6, or 7 trees.

I would say illusion or conjuration could be cool for your build,
