Then I try to exit the weather station I’m asked to give up my weapons by the guard next to the door, however he does not take them so I’m stuck.
I have uploaded the data to mister house and the guard says I’m completed my task and is asked to talk to Caesar.
I have tried to talk to the guard first or just activating the door, also tried both the keep holdout weapons or keep all, even tried to drop all my and followers weapons on the ground with no help.
Any tips or workarounds?

Kill them all.

Okay, maybe not the best workaround... But it'll get you unstuck.

Solved it by updating my game, pretty new to Vegas, but killing them might have solved the problem but would probably give other problems if I joined Caesars side.
One related question if I join Caesars side will I get problems with NCR everywhere else like on the strip or trading posts. They are pretty much everywhere.

The trading posts will be hostile to you, but the soldiers on the strip are too drunk to attack you.
You will only get problems at the embassy and the train station.

TY, follow up with another problem, then I try to upgrade the penthouse suite in the Lucky 38 the interface behaves strangely, I can just access a small part of the show interface 3-4 items on my side, and none of the upgrades.
It appears like I’m restricted to selecting things that fit on the computer screen behind the shop interface. Upgrading the game did not help here. I play on PC so I have to click on the items with the mouse, the mouse click restrictions is the only problem I have sold things to the computer as it had around 800 cap then I entered.

Wondered if it either exist some console command to access the shop window or perhaps give me all the upgrades.

Sorry i'm not on PC , so I can't test it, but I believe that I read that you have to use the keyboard to scroll down the menu, so that it appears.
