I'll check out that program and see if it removes it. In the link above, they give you a step by step on how to remove it, but there's a step before malwarbytes that says to be in safe mode for. Not sure why.
Safe mode will boot your PC with the bare minimum of processes and services running, just those that are required by Windows.
In Safe Mode the malware is less likely to interfere with the removal process as the processes it depends on likely won't have been started when Windows booted. It also means that since less files are actively in use on your PC, then whatever kind of Malware removal software you go for, it will be able to conduct a more thorough scan.
