HELP Disc Chipped!

Post » Fri Sep 11, 2009 2:38 am

My Fallout 3 Disc is chipped on the outer ring, and I already have the game installed but cant run it on the disc anymore. Is there a way to permanently download the game TO my hardrive like on an Xbox? I have the Xbox version but the graphics compared to the PC are... well frankly horrid. I really don't want to have to use my Xbox, but If there is no other soulution I will.

Also if you download a program like FOMM (Fallout Mod Manager) you can run the game without the disk, thus letting you play it on PC again.

Also if you contact Bethesda, they will sometimes send you a new copy if you send them your old one for a nominal fee. (Probably shipping costs)

Receiving a message stating "the ordinal 5360 could not be located in the dynamic link library xlive.dll" Downloading the latest version of Games for Windows LIVE should help. Please visit this http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=128962 to download.

Nope its normal to see. Just follow this above.
