Hello, I reached the end of this huge ruin, I died several time and Lydia died aswell, at the end there is a Dwarven Mechanism, it says that I lack the correct item for it to work, any ideas ?

figure ill just bring this one back (wow page 7 in 3 hours) rather than start a new one

ive also snuck all the way through raldbthar and am stuck in the same situation

would like to know if its a quest, if i missed something, or what. ive tried random dwarven pieces, including levers, it appears that it needs some kind of tube because theres a hole, thats why i thought lever, insert it in then rotate, but it doesnt work

Find Septimus Something-or-other you need the sphere and cube. He's somewhere north of winterhold in an ice cave on an iceberg.
I think thats the place he talks about at least

So all of these stupid Dwemer parts I've got aren't needed at all? I don't need any of them? Things like the gyros and spare metal and stuff?

Nope. His name is siber optimus. If you head straight north on the compass from winterhold college, you will find him with ease. It's the first cave you run in to after heading north.

The cave is called siber septimus outpost. Inside he will start a quest for you and give you the tools. Beware this is part of the main quest as well
