Help! ED-E My Love? : Fallout: New Vegas

On PC, I repair ED-E, but then Nash won't give me the quest.

Can anybody tell me the console command to jumpstart it?

EDE My Love is the quest..

Nash has nothing to do with it anymore. ( Did you talk to him after repairing the robot ? Ask him where he got it ..? Click on all his conversations...should mention a scrap yard.)

Just keep exploring....it will play itself out.There are no quest markers for this one.( Except the first one )

Hint...head for the scrap yard a little north of Novac...should give you an idea what to expect for EDE's quest line.

You misunderstand. Nash has 2 dialogue options for me, neither of which will allow me to actually get the quest.

I got it on my first character, got to the scrapyard no issues. Now this 2nd and 3rd character are unable to get it. Rather irritating. Hence why I'm asking for the code to get that first part rolling.

If you repair ED-E before talking to Johnson Nash he may not give you the quest or tell you what to do next. Visiting Old Lady Gibson at the Gibson Scrap Yard will trigger the quest and the first message needed.
