Help making a dark cell?

Post » Mon Jun 18, 2012 9:00 am

I'm trying to make a dark interior cell in my game, but I can't seem to figure out how to actually do it.
Can anyone help?

I would show what I have so far, but for SOME reason I'm not allowed to post links. :/
Is there a facepalm emote?

Pretty much I have, in the editor at least, a little dungeon set up that's pitch black except for a light source at the entrance room. (So that the player would need to carry a torch or have candle/magelight.)
But when I run it in game, it doesn't even matter that I have light sources in the room, because I can see everything.

Anyone feel like helping me out, please? :s

Right click on the tomb in the cell and edit it, change the ambient lighting around.

You may want to disable Directional ambient light to make the dark uniform.

Okay so pretty much you just have to set all of the colors in lighting and directional ambient lighting to black. :U
Not so hard, really.
...Just took me a while to figure out.

Is there a way to make it absolutely pitch black in a cell?
