Help needed with massive sized interior cell

Post » Sun Nov 18, 2012 9:19 am

Hello, just wondering how big I can make an interior cell. I am currently working on a massive maze mod and for ease of creation would like to do it all in one cell. I am unsure though because the top of my render window says "IndoorMaze [Free camera, perspective] - M# : 109.27% (171.56 MB / 157 MB)". I've currently done 1/3 rd of the maze and haven't even started adding objects, lighting, effects, encounters, etc. Should I keep going or plan to spread the maze over 10 cells or something? Any help appreciated, Thanks.

Spread your maze over a bunch of cells.

Also, portals and roombounds.

I think the havok limits are +/- 30000 or something close. It is suggested that you break up your cells though. Look at Bleak Falls Barrow, that's still pretty big in each cell, but it is broken up into 2 or 3.

Is there a cell that gives an example of roombounds and portals?
