So, instead of doing something productive with my life I'm going to buy a new game. I've found myself looking at post-apocalyptic style games (and yes, I've finished the Fallouts) and it's really come down to the S.T.A.L.K.E.R series and Metro 2033. I'd be interested to hear feedback from people who have played these games!

Also, regarding S.T.A.L.K.E.R. I've not played any game in the series. Which is the best one? Will I be lost if I don't start with the first game (Shadow of Chernobyl, I beleive.)
