so I recently found the kid in the fridge and I took him out. And this creepy guy says cute kid how much for him and stuff and he offered 200 caps. I tried my charisma and asked for a higher price (it failed) the kid got mad and it said "failed mission" since I didn't take him back home even after I told him his parents are dead he still thinks they're alive!! It won't show his home on the map and I'm stuck with this annoying immune brat!! Someone help I'd greatly appreciate it

anyway, that quest. I have done it a couple of times now and i blow the guys head off immediately that asks to buy him. The house is just down the path that u were following already.. past the guy that asks to buy him.

yeah, the kids parents live in a house in the swamp at the far edge of quincy. Skirt around the water edge to get there unless you are ready to take on the the biggest gunner base in the game with kid in tow. I think the parents give you 240 caps and some xp if I remember right.

I tried to kill the kid since he was a ghoul and I had just killed a certain synth I had come to trust for the Brotherhood. But he is unkillable.

So I started to take him home and met the raider (Bullet) who I sold him to for 250 caps. Problem solved.

Later, I was investigating Quincy and I saw "Billy" digging ditches for the raiders. lol. Then I had to kill all the raiders and that is a nasty fight with several named bosses (Clint, Baker, Tessa, et al). Billy is still there I suppose.

could have just taken the kid home...

You tell the kid his parents are dead, you try to sell him to some raider, and you are surprised the kid won't tell you where his home is?
