Help starting a Breton character

Post » Sun Sep 23, 2012 6:39 pm

So, I've wanted to start a Breton for a long time instead of playing altmer, but I have this thing where I like to be able to look at my character's face in third person and, you know, not wince at how messed up they look. I feel like the Bretons have weird eyes (bug eyes?), like they're half sticking out of their sockets. It's hard to explain, and I play on 360 so I can't post a relevant screenshot, but they basically look like they're half-toad or something.

It's more noticeable in a dark space like a dungeon but even in daylight it's pretty obvious, *except* during character creation, so I can't even tell if I'm adjusting the eyes right to avoid this problem before committing to playing through the first 5 minutes over and over...

Anyone know what I'm talking about, have tips for changing their faces at the character creation screen?

Just set the eye depth all the way down. Bring the brow out slightly and raise the cheekbones to have them appear further back. That is about all you can do. I hope this helps. Good luck with your new Breton.

Also I hate the way Bethesda did the Breton mouths, the way they protrude out is extremely over exaggerated. They look normal in front. but when you look at them from the side its horrible. There is not one normal looking mouth. At all.

Just accept them as they look. It's not a breton if it looks like anything else.
