I'm on the quest Vahtacen's Secret for the Mages Guild. I'm using the Unofficial Elder Scrolls Pages as a guide. You're supposeed to read the inscriptions on the walls. I did that, and fire four spells, Fire Damage, Frost Damage, Damage Magicka, Fortify Magicka. I do them in order. When I fire the first two spells at the Pillar, it moves. The Third Spell Damage Magicka, it doesn't move, but when I fire the Fortify Magicka spell it moves back to the starting point and I get shocked by the dark stones.

I have no idea why it doesn't work. I have the newest version, I just downloaded it from Steam.com not long ago.
