Hey yall, I'm about 200 hours in and have run into a rpoblem with the "Regain the Winterhold Hold" Imperal quest of "The Reunification of Skyrim" where I have to rescue the soldiers from the fort Kastav. I cannot get the quest because appeaerently the Lady (Legate Rikke) that gives me the quest is completely broken. Ihave NEVER used a console before.

I found this online to bypass the Legate and go right to the fort mission but when I enter it it does nothing: (please see below command)


Regain Winterhold Hold
Sometimes when you go to Legate Rikke, she will not give you the quest "Rescue From Fort Kastav". Go to the nearby cooking spit and activate it, this should trigger the "Reporting for Duty" dialog option to appear.
When you try to meet up with the other soldiers to infiltrate Fort Kastav, you may find some of them have been killed by a frost troll.



EDIT: ON PC type in console: "setstage CWMission04 10" that will skip the chat with Legate Rikke and give you the quest: "Rescue From Fort Kastav".



Question, is there something that I need to enter beore or after a console command to activate it? or is my console broken too?

Are you entering console mode before typing in the command? You do that by hitting the "~/`" key, located just under the ESC key. Use the same key to exit console mode once you've entered your command.

I have a similar, though different, problem: I took fort Kastav and had to report to General Tillius. He thanked me, promoted me, and gave me my reward item, but has no dialogue option to continue the civil war plot. I'm stuck there!

yep, I entered the console, entered the command and nothing happens.

If I open the console again I see the command up in the list, but it does nothing.

I'm stumpped
