OK, I turned 50 recently and of course all the old age maladies have suddenly reached a point where I have to start compensating for something.
To that end, I have decided to increase the size, but not the resolution of my monitor. I currently have a 22" 1920 by 1080 and it's fine and all. But, I want something a bit bigger. I have seen both 24 inch and 27 inch monitors at a price point I am willing to spend, and their tech and specs are similar.
Here are two that I am looking at just for comparison.

What I can't determine on-line is if a 27 inch 1920 by 1080 monitor is grainy or not. So, anyone who has a 27 inch monitor, can they comment on the graininess or lack there of on that size monitor at 1920 resolution? Note, a number of 27's are 2560 resolution and that is not what I am getting.
