Help with stupid door puzzle

Okay so I'm a couple hours in, at the second dungeon I guess it is, I assume I'm at or close to the end of it now. I'm at the door where you have to align the symbols properly then use the claw as the key to get out. I notice the markings on the wall and I lined up the symbols accordingly or so I thought but door not opening. What's the correct order? On the wall, if you go in the order where you enter the room it looks like Angel, Bear, Owl...there is a fourth thing on the wall but there are only 3 locks on the door so not sure what that is, maybe that's the part I'm messing up. Iv'e tried a bunch of combinations, can't seem to get this, I'm a noob. :)

The right combination is on the back of the claw

the claw puzzles ive done has the code etched on the claw. Like in the previews released prior to the game.

The clue was in Arvel's Journal, where he says something like examining the Claw was the key to the whole thing, or something vague like that.
