I started the game. After escaping the tunnels with my guide, I split off from him. He went one way, and I went to Whiterun because that's where the cheapest house is.

Here I acquired this quest, which I have no completed.

I was just checking the wiki out to see if I had missed anything, and I found that it stated that this quest is only available after defeating the dragon at Whiterun's East Gate.

I've completed the quest. I've never (to my knowledge) defeated a dragon. Is this an error in the wiki or did I miss something?



Secondly, as soon as I turn in the tablet to the Jarl's mage, the quest to kill the dragon at the west watchtower titled Dragon Rising then begins. Is this supposed to happen back to back?
