Here there be Ships

Very functional and fire cannons on the coast of High Rock?

In all serousnous, what is everyone deep gut feeling about the chances of any DLC involving functional ships?

Mine, I say there is about as much chance of that as mountable flying dragons.

It would be pretty cool but I doubt it would happen. The game probably wouldn't be capable of handling all that comes with it.

Only approved if the ship has a dungeon in it. Daggerfall had ships. The ships had a secret dungeon. I plan to buy a ship in Daggerfall just for that. I bet they have corpses inside to tell you that the banks are selling haunted ships. Hehe.

That aside, I'd like to have a nice little boat to row around. You guys can have the big ships. I want a little rowing boat.

Assassins Creed III has me pretty pumped about the ships and having a battle in the open sea. Ahh, can't wait. That game's gonna be so awesome!

I've wanted to have a ship so badly since Morrowind. Sail it around the coasts, raid towns, carry cargo, etc. It'd be fantastic.

I found the first one boring, but something about AC 3 makes me more interested. I know it will have the standard stuff, but it looks more fun. The first one, while it had Altair, who is awesome, was dull to me.

The first one was, the second one was awesome though. The third looks the best.

Well, there is this one quest in Windhelm where you go on a ship to a remote location.

The first one was quite bland and very repetitive. The second one however was absolutely great. I haven't played any of the other ones though such as Brotherhood or Revelations. I don't even know how they fit into the story line.

I'm almost positive the engine couldn't handle sailing, but it would still be awesome. Elder Scrolls VI maybe?
