Got attacked by a Dragon near Riverwood, so I decided to high tail it back to the town because I couldn't take it on, so thought the guards would do it. The Dragon followed me, and then I lol'd. This NPC Alvor was literally in the most badass boxing/unarmed fighting stance ever, and staring up at this giant dragon going "Die Dragon!". Here we have the Dragonborn, saviour of Tamriel, dressed in the most badass armor, firing flames and frost from his hands and carrying a huge sword, and he runs away like a pansy. And then there's Alvor, running after this [censored] dragon, getting ready to punch it in the balls. Alvor doesn't give a [censored]. It's [censored] Alvor. I hereby relinquish my position as Dragonborn, as I believe Alvor should do this quest instead, although he'd probably much rather polish swords or chop wood or whatever incredibly manly people do when they don't punch dragons.

This game frickin rules. I've had genuine "wow, that's so awesome" and genuine moments where I laugh at things, and there have been few games lately that have managed to evoke any kind of response from me.

Another funny thing happened earlier, I got into a conversation with this NPC and the idiot randomly walked back, fell into a river and got swept off a giant waterfall, mid conversation, lmao. I was like "Yes, show me what you have or sal... woah, woah, woooaahh." I guess some of this stuff falls into the 'poor AI' category, but I still enjoyed it.
