Hey all, WOULD like some insight(GUILD) USA XB1

Post » Sun Jun 19, 2016 11:37 pm

PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF CRIMANY DONT DELET THIS, this took a lot of typing and thought.. I didnt know where to put this in the forums, so it went here, as i do not have the required invitation to be in the eso forums... didnt know you needed that.. :/ if any of you managed to have the patience to read this, then awesome.

As the title says, i made a guild, now.. im not trying to make it sound like im promoting my guild (which only has one person, me), but id like some... help. My guild, The Holy Knights Templar is in motion, ive been spending a lot of time figuring out how i would coordinate it, so far i have The name, and ranks, i just need the "right" people to give me an insight on who i should recruit as i plan on being a military type rp guild, that is PVP and PVE with rules, simple ones at that. i simply put this here for conversation, like does this sound "legit" and whatnot.

let me make an.. um.. Spreadsheet of sorts

Ranks:

Grand Master: me, i oversee our entire operations throughout the lands. you obey my small amount of rules, im not a strict person, but i will use aggressive authority if need be.

Prior: my right hand men, you few will help supervise resources during war, you make sure all other ranks are equipped and assigned accordingly, you support our politics with other guilds, and help me manage our operations here in daggerfall, you are the supervising authority within local areas, you help handle the guilds needs. you keep the higher ranking officers in line, you may also liberate any resources as long as it will help the guild, you handle the gold, dont spend it all on yourself, we need it to, thrive, and besides there will be plenty o riches while you are this rank.

Chaplain: Main healers, in battle you keep us alive and well, you help arrange the marshal with ceremonies, you may also serve us at large, or be assigned to support the prior, commanders and preceptors, because of the necessity of you guys, you are ranked higher than commanders.

Commander: you are in charge of organizing the knights during battle, you are an embassy, you serve under me, and the priory, you help with diplomatic situations with other guilds. you also have the authority to promote, demote, and discharge any member other then your higher ranking officers. use your power wisely or you will have to deal with me.

Justiciar: you help resolve minor and major quells within the guild, you may listen to certain complaints, such as a fellow guild member in dire need or a member being disrespectful towards other members in our guild. you may also be assigned to serve under a commander, prior, or preceptory.

Preceptor: you guys are a big part in all this, you will help supervise authority in local organizations (other guilds), meaning you shall make dealings and arrangements with other guilds such as trading. you will also support territories in cyrodiil such as keeps, you may claim resources in the area that you would think would be most beneficial, you also help out the prior in other matters that he or she may ask of. you can hire traders for our guild as well and can sell in the guilds store.

Ceremony Marshal: Mages go here, unless you are a Beast or redgaurd, you guys are in charge of conducting ceremonial rituals for the Squires, your roles in combat are to mainly support for the knights, you wont be charging in directly, during ceremonies you have a superseded rank above all others during this brief time, meaning you coordinate when and where said ceremony takes place, be it for squires or or celebrating with the guild after a mighty blow to the enemy, however you still fallow the rules the Grand master has laid out, not only will you support knights in combat, but also will help make strategies during battle, you will also be assigned a job, such as smith, or cook. if you need help procuring an item take a squire, that is what they are there for.

Knight Templar: ah my favorites, my bread and butter, you guys are holy warriors, you obey the Commanders, and assist the other officers if called upon, you will be mostly in the frontlines of cyrodill with the Commanders, you also will be helping and escorting squires to their respective training grounds, you guys will need to train, for the many battles ahead, your permissions will be limited though as you will need to ask an officer or i for certain things, this is to keep a steady flow of order within the guild.

Saladin Knights: Beast races redgaurds will be promoted here, you are soldiers but also agents, listen around see whats going on, and if you can, see what our enemies are planning, you guys are able to recruit other beast races and redgaurds, you will also help out the Knights in combat or questing. and if called upon you may help higher officers.

Squire: Basically a freshy, you fallow your respective officers, if not you will be discharged, Squires run errands, gather resources, gain training to become a knight, if you are a beast race or redguard you will be automatically promoted to a Saladin Knight. if you are a lv1 you will be sent to the fighters guild to train, you will have a knight by your side during your training in the fighters guild, after that you will see the ceremony marshal to begin your knighthood..

Rules

Those in the guild shall not dawn exaggerated colors, we are noble respectful knights, not pimps, you will need some type of red color and a gray, steel, or white. if you dont have a a red then you will be escorted to the fighters guild to get your first red, after you unlock it, you will be then escorted to a dye station to equip your new colors, you will respect me and others we are friendly, except to the opposing factions (AD and EP). any complaints of unfairness in the ranks will be ignored, the following are limited but not excluded to ( wanting to rank past your restrictions, such as a Knight wanting to join the Saladins and vice versa, wanting certain guild permissions, your rank is your rank, you will follow accordingly, if you have a request such as wanting to recruit a friend you will speak to a designated officer or i, wanting to take gold from the guild storage, wanting to take excessive items from the guild without donating, if excessive items are taken and not replaced or put back, you will be demoted or discharged by an Chaplain, commander or Justiciar.) if you have a real question, not a complaint, you may ask a designated officer. As being a part of the guild you will earn gold daily, your rank depends on the ammount you will receive, Squires start with none, Saladins and Knights gain 10-15gp, marshals gain 20, Preceptors 25, Justiciars 25, Commanders 50, Chaplains 55, Priors 85, any complaints about gaining gold daily will be ignored, this is your job, act it. we will have a black smith to equip squires even if you dont stay in the guild the armor and weapons will be a gift, the blacksmith may equip a soldier or officer with their classes respective gear, you may only get free gear once every 3 days, if you want more gear you will have to pay the blacksmith 30-45gp for a full set of armor, weapons 10-25, all members will need to activate and progress through the fighters guild questlines, you may progress through it at your own leisure BUT GET IT DONE.. eventually ;), my last rule probably is, remember this is an rp guild, if you cant handle it, leave the guild, if you are serious stick around, i have great plans for us! im not mean, actually im very nice and sometimes shy lol. BUT MOST OF ALL JUST HELP EACHOTHER OUT GUYS, WE ARENT STRICTLY PVP IF SOMEONE NEEDS HELP LEVELING OR DOING A QUEST JUST ASK, WE MUST HELP EACHOTHER TO THRIVE. caps done :)

Im a breton templar, serving the daggerfall covenent, i am in no way trying to promote my guild (at least i dont think i am) this is here purely for discussion on what to do, if you are interested in joining then ask me, if that isnt allowed then sorry for bringing it up, i am fairly new to eso as well.

Do you own ESO? It's my understanding that if you own it you can make an account to post on the forums.

If you have ESO, then you have an invite to the ESO forums. (it can take up to 24 hours to receive it.)

Check your email, including the spam folder.

If you need a new invite, contact ESO Support with these instructions: https://help.elderscrollsonline.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/18679/~/my-forum-invitation-code-has-expired.-how-can-i-access-the-eso-forums%3F

I'll leave this open while you get help, but guild topics are for the ESO forum only.

Hey. :) It's a fun idea for a guild, I like it. However, I don't think this is the right place for this thread; you will find a more receptive community on the official ESO forum (https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/). If you scroll all the way down, you'll see dedicated guild recruitment sections.
