This next patch will hopefully fix what should've been fixed last time plus some new stuff, so this could be a pretty big patch. Give it time though, its not like the game is some unplayable mess that only a patch can fix.

No its not. I managed to clear the SP, and am having loads on fun online. Its not unplayable at all. Bit glitchy, but nowhere near unplayable.

lol Yeah, forgot that the CoD fanboys seem to be around here a lot. Wish they'd just stop whining, they don't seem to like anything unless its CoD.

And let's be honest, that really svcks. Because developers tend to "CODify" their games to reach a wider audience (typical CoD fanboys) therefore losing quality and originality...
Some people say that happened with Killzone 3 for example, it feels much more "Arcadey" than KZ2, but still really fun, i love it. Oh and I guess Homefront is pretty similar to CoD.

I love the ideology of this forum. If you acknowledge the fact that this game is broken, you're automatically a COD Fanboy. Why is the crysis community so **** retarded?

It is, and I'm really disappointed with it. Probably the biggest reason I love C2 so much is that it refuses to be CoD-ified. And I'm sorry, but it's just a fact that a large part of the shooter crowd wants every game to be exactly like CoD. Anyone who followed the complaining and subsequent patches to the controls on the Killzone forums back when KZ2 came out knows this. Obviously if a franchise is as hugely successful as CoD, it's going to have an impact, but yeah... it's pretty much ruined the FPS genre at this point and with the success of CODBLOPS despite the fact that everyone knows it's a glitchy mess, it looks like we're still a few years away from recovery...

it's funny how we all waste our time here arguing about their product and Crytek doesn't even bother to answer, maybe it's all the anger that is driving them away. Anyway, like I said in a different post, what I do is I stick to the SP, that way I don't feel like I've been robbed; yes, it has its faults but hey! don't we all?

In a related story, please use spell check before you post...some of the grammar here is insulting.

Yeah, that's what i like about Crysis 2. It's not meant to be like CoD and in my opinion it's much more tactical as you always have to keep a close eye on your energy meter and stuff.
Overall it feels great, it just needs some fixes to be an outstanding online experience. I have more than 20 days put into CoD, and i could easily do that with this game, it's really addictive but not frustrating at all (except for the lag and bugs).
Bottomline, Crytek just fix this and we'll be happy. :D

It would be impossible for you to experience none of the major problems.

SOCOM is by far the last "true" mp experience. ive been playin socom online since Socom 2 on the P2 and those games have always come through. its straight competative in those games and you have to talk and use tactics to be succesfull in those games. cant wait for the release already got min o pre order cant wait for that beast to hit the stage. along with the new ghost recon.

'Major problems'? I only experienced glitches on my playthrough in SP, and have hit some bugs online but nothing that can't be squashed with a patch. Nothing 'game breaking'. I'm not saying there aren't some deeper problems, just that so far at least, I haven't experienced them.
