Hey gstaff, is there any backtracking in this game?

I'm interested in this game's flow and pacing...

Is it going to be: Go from point A to B to C to D , etc... (Like Resident Evil 4).

Or

is it going to be: Go from point A to B, then get a key, and return to A, which opens the door to C, which is a hall that got doors leading to D, E, and F. (Like Resident Evil 1)

Simply put, is there going to be backtracking like the above?

I'm asking this, because surely you played the game, right? For the record, I'm fine with either approach. Just curious.

There's some backtracking within chapters, but for the most part you're advancing to new areas -- chapter by chapter.
