I intend to get as close to 80 as possible. So I'm contemplating on whether I should aim for 250 HP - 750 MP+ or if I should keep it balanced with 500 HP - 500 MP+
I'm going to use Enchanting to do 100%+ on Destruction and add as many points to my magicka as possible instead of taking Restoration too. I feel the extra magicka would be more beneficial towards other spells.
I chose to be a Breton because I want to have a good defense as well as offense. I know the High Elf is much more suited for the role, but hey, as they say "You are what you play."
My immediate question is, should I be more balanced with my health and magicka, or is it okay to just add a butt-load of points to magicka and not so much on health?
I'm playing on Master difficulty right now, and I find myself almost always running out of magicka, and I'm very good at rationing my mana.
My other question is is it better to take another magic school instead of extra magicka or should I just stay with my magicka bonus as well as 100% destruction?
I'm also taking advantage of all the perks in the magic class. I've got just about everything. I am not going into necromancy, or I am doing atromancy, I am not spending any points on fire, frost, or shock weapon enchantments, and other than that, I'm just avoiding the three "Near death" effects in the destruction pool.
I intend to do a lot of practice outside of the magic field to accommodate with my levels. In magic alone, I have 73 perks that I intend to fill before I move onto a bit of alchemy, one point in sneaking and haggling, making 80 perks in all.
Any other advice? Let me know. I'd rather learn it now than make a mistake later.
