High Hrothgar7000 steps offering : V

Im just wondering what everyone put on the offering plate when you went up the 7000 steps?
I gave a Lavender Sprig. Dont know why, I just felt that I needed to leave something.

Haha, yea.. I never actually thought of doing that >.<
And i only noticed the side quest to deliver the stuff AFTER i went there and got sent off cross-continent to fulfill my destiny. Bummer :/

Haven't been to High Hrothgar yet.

Can anyone confirm that Bethesda actually put in 7000 steps?
I read somewhere in an interview i think Todd Howard specifically wanted exactly 7000 steps from his team.
Is this true? or just baloney?

I was so disappointed with those 7000 sets, particularly with how many of them went down.

As for an offering? I didn't leave one. I just deposited the supplies that guy asked me to take up and then invited myself in.

feels more like 500, and the walk is too short too

I delivered the supplies and let my jaw drop when he gave me 1000 SEPTIMS for just walking up a mountain.

... when rich lords give me 200 gold for slaying a dragon, a peasant gives me 1000 gold for taking a mere delivery trip up a mountain o.O

I felt quite bad ahas I saw what was in te offering plate, a few gold coins and some lavender i stole everything then looked around me and stole the bowl lol I did have a funny moment up there though when that frost/snow troll came after me I ran back thinking i remember seeing that woman meditating at the shrine she can help me.I ran all the way to her she got up......pulled out her axe screamed have at you ran up tothe troll but before she could get even 1 hit in he smacked her off the mountain i stood there just thinking o s**t

I left Lydia's body there, she died on the way up fighting a frost troll, I felt it was the resting place she deserved. Then I fus-roh-dahed her off the top, which was a lot more fun.
