Early on in the came, I took Faendel as a companion. When we were in a dungeon, he was killed. Later on, I took the quest "Hired Muscle" given to me by Farkas. The quest stated I needed to beat up (but not kill) Faendel. My map marker shows the place where Faendel lies dead but when I go there all I can do is search is body. When I go back to Farkas, I have no option of telling him he is dead or moving forward with the quest at all. This is unfortunate because I can't do any other Companions quest while this one is still active.

I had him as a follower and had bounty in whiterun so i payed and went to the jail to forfeit stolen goods as usual, but when the game loaded outside the prison, he was nowhere to be found!
