Holidays In TESO

The circus thread brought up an interesting question I have....

A lot of MMOs celebrate holidays around our RL holidays such as Halloween and Christmas. Now, one thing with TES is the lore which we obvious don't want to break so we don't want to bring Christmas into a world that knows no such celebration. But, I was wondering if there will be some kind of equivalent that will be celebrated during the RL holidays. For instance, there are holidays in Daggerfall like Day of the Dead which might be similar to Halloween.

Feast of the Tiger and Harvest's End are a bit like Thanksgiving

Saturalia in Daggerfall falls on Evening's Star 25th which is obviously similar to Christmas.

Curious if some of these holidays will make an "appearance" in conjunction with our's? What do you think?

Probably so. Most MMO's have stuff like this, and the fact that there's an ES equivalent will make it more than likely to happen.

I already love the sound of Saturalia. Once a holiday to a god of debauchery that includes gift giving, parties and parading. That just sounds too awesome.
