I am curious as to everyone's views of Homestuck and its growing fanbase. Would anyone care to offer their thoughts on it?

Can't stand it. The webcomic itself is incredibly stupid, relying entirely on toilet humor and randomness to appeal to the simplest of teenage minds, the art design is terrible and the fanbase is likely the most obnoxious one I've ever had the misfortune to come across (Not as widespread as bronies, but individually more annoying). I hate it so much that I'm rather pissed off I even see it mentioned on this forum.

I honestly had never seen a single piece of Homestuck content in my life until a friend got me to make a Tumblr back in May. Homestuck is incredibly popular on Tumblr, and I've made it a point to not Google for myself what it is actually about, instead trying to piece together something resembling a theme based on what I've seen on Tumblr. All I've got so far is that there are a million billion characters who are sometimes "trolls" but sometimes human and they often don't have arms. Oh and they have horns too. As for what purpose these characters serve in their fictional lives, I have no clue.

I'm not bothered by it because despite seeing a ton of content from it for weeks I still don't know much about it. Generally I just automatically scroll past in on Tumblr. I could unfollow the blogs that post it but that's tough to do when so many blogs that post it are otherwise entertaining.

I once went to its homepage to read a few comics and find out what it is. I still have no idea.
