Honest Question.

How likely is it that a gaming company (like Bethesda Softworks) would take the suggestion of a game from the idea of an imaginative person such as myself? The game would be unlike anything they've done before and not a DLC or patch to an existing game.

Basically, they pay their 'professionals' for ideas, while there's other people out there with great ideas as well.

Thanks for not giving the whole "no ****" answer. You can't blame a guy for being too curious, right?

i wonder if they're like song writers and legally can't even look at ideas that are sent to them (obviously not effected by the forum as its fan feedback) and you'd just get a letter from the offices of their lawyers

Well, does anyone know another way I can get my ideas out there. I can't continue my writing as I'm not on MY computer, and I'm too young to actually apply for a job to do that kind of thing. I'm just tired of being unheard and unnoticed. Any suggestions?

The best you can do is email them I'm guessing, or try inboxing a Beth. Admin or whatever with your ideas.

You seem persistent, which is a good thing. If you're still in high school, graduate and pursue your dream and your goals. All your creativity that you have now should put into a portfolio and maybe you'll end up working for a video game company, writing for them and what not. Keep at it.

Yeah, there's really no chance that Bethesda would ever take your suggestion, especially when it's for a completely new game. A bunch of legal issues pop up and they're doing fine on their own, so it's not worth it, no matter how good your idea is.

Basically, ideas are a dime a dozen. Either make the game yourself, or go to college/get schooling in writing, gaming, and things like that.

No. They don't just pay "professionals" to come up with ideas for their games. It's a team, and it's about doing they and others will like. To suggest that they should just take any random suggestion that comes along is just ridiculous.

Eh, it was a stupid question. I appreciate the suggestions, though. For what it's worth, thanks.
